Saint-Hyacinthe has once again been recognized for job creation. It was named Canada’s top job market, based on a study by Ontarian job research group Express Employment Professionals.
According to the organization’s data, Saint-Hyacinthe has the most dynamic and vibrant job market, with an economy that generates the highest number of new jobs. The Maskoutan region not only came out ahead of medium-size Canadian cities, but also the country’s most populated large urban centres and main economic hubs.
« In 2015, the hottest job market in the country is in Saint-Hyacinthe in the Montérégie region of Quebec, southeast of Montréal. This community has a diversified economic core, which includes a strong agri-food industry, as well as major educational institutions. »
