Services for Event Organizers

The success of a convention, trade show or event rests largely on how well it is organized. Our team would like to contribute to your success by offering guidance throughout the entire planning process. Do not hesitate to contact us! As the best reference for our destination, we will be glad to give advice and help you reach your objectives.

Planning services

Saint-Hyacinthe has been a top business tourism destination for over 25 years. We have welcomed over 3,607 conventions, shows, trade fairs and events, with over 50 overnight stays. We offer a wide range of services to help make your event a success:

  • Suggested locations based on your needs (consult the pamphlet)
  • Organization/coordination and accompaniment during site visits
  • Calls for bids from venues or lodging establishments
  • Help preparing a bid package

Organization services
We guide you through every step of your event’s organization:

  • List of local suppliers to give your event local flair
  • Help organizing activities before, during and after a convention
  • Attending pre-event coordination meetings with the selected suppliers

Visibility services
To inform residents about your convention, show or trade fair, we offer to:

  • Register the event, at no charge, on the Tourisme Saint-Hyacinthe website (for non-recurring events that are open to the public)
  • Post a message announcing your event on one of the lighted signs along Highway 20 (according to availability and eligibility)
  • Give you a list of local media (to send your press releases)

Welcome services
Your convention or event attendees (exhibitors, conventioneers, companions and visitors) will likely want information to plan their stay (where to eat, sleep, what services are available, etc.). We offer the following assistance:

  • Creation of a dedicated page for event attendees on the Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole website (providing information based on your needs)
  • Register your convention or event in L’Hôte (the host) newsletter, a welcome management and planning tool for local restaurants and service providers
  • Provide you with tourism brochures
