Other commercial thoroughfares

Parallel to Highway 20, Laurier Boulevard (Route 116) crosses the city, from Douville to Sainte-Rosalie. It gives access to a number of business clusters serving residents, as well as several businesses that attract a regional clientele.

Route 137 also crosses Saint-Hyacinthe from north to south. Called Laframboise Boulevard at the city’s northern entrance, it turns into Sainte-Anne Avenue a little further on. This road connects Saint-Hyacinthe’s two major commercial centres: the northern commercial sector and the downtown area. It gives access to a string of businesses that meet the needs of the neighbourhood’s residents, and all the city’s inhabitants.

The investments in the city’s various commercial sectors to date motivate the business community to make sure Saint-Hyacinthe remains one of Quebec’s best shopping destinations.
